Sunday, 2 December 2007

The Action Group gay and lesbian loiret was yesterday 21h 2h du mat 'at Pentagram and Small cap the Lioness at the World Day against AIDS.

Volunteer Group Home Prevention (GAP), formed to Home and prevention, went from table to table armed with small paper stickers and pencils. In freedom, everyone was able to write messages of love, solidarity, hope ...
These messages were then pasted on a visual that was affectionately known as "cock palaver."

Throughout the evening, members of GAP were able to meet people and talk with confidence and with respect for confidentiality. Individualized advice related to their sexual practices have been given. It is now our way of being upstream risk behaviors among homosexuals.

Members of the Gentiles Gagli offered throughout the evening screening invitations to apply for one or two people in the consultations and free anonymous testing (CDAG) of the department.

As for AIDS, you see even a few words of hope, fears and desires crazy ...

STI AIDS prevention in the gay Orleans is threatened and in the Loiret

Sunday 16 July 2006

Strawberry condom The Action Group gay and lesbian Loiret has developed since 1999, campaigns to prevent AIDS and STIs on the various locations of meetings and friendly gay, lesbian and gay-friendly. These actions have always been financed by the state through the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Affairs (DRASS Center). Gradually, we managed to make our actions in the gay and lesbian and we thought that we awarded in 2005, 20,000 euros for carrying out this meant that we were recognized.

One year after 2005: the year of great national cause AIDS, while there is a general demobilization of French in the fight against AIDS, the association has a group of volunteers trained and committed. We regret that this group will not work this year because DRASS Center did not include our action "to a sufficient priority." It does not allocate funding.

Without funding, we can not assume the prevention campaign, implementation usually the summer and throughout the year. This decision leads to the ground, a lack of information and awareness could be an aggravating factor of risk-taking particularly among young homosexuals. We are outraged by the decision is a fatal blow to a public health recognized as modes of contamination are still poorly understood and practices to significantly increase risks to the scene of meetings of Loiret.
