The Action Group gay and lesbian Loiret has developed since 1999, campaigns to prevent AIDS and STIs on the various locations of meetings and friendly gay, lesbian and gay-friendly. These actions have always been financed by the state through the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Affairs (DRASS Center). Gradually, we managed to make our actions in the gay and lesbian and we thought that we awarded in 2005, 20,000 euros for carrying out this meant that we were recognized.

One year after 2005: the year of great national cause AIDS, while there is a general demobilization of French in the fight against AIDS, the association has a group of volunteers trained and committed. We regret that this group will not work this year because DRASS Center did not include our action "to a sufficient priority." It does not allocate funding.

Without funding, we can not assume the prevention campaign, implementation usually the summer and throughout the year. This decision leads to the ground, a lack of information and awareness could be an aggravating factor of risk-taking particularly among young homosexuals.
