A week'aides for homosexuals infected with the AIDS virus
A WEEK'AIDES is an interdepartmental meeting of people affected by HIV and is organized on Sunday from 10am to 17. The day begins the morning by visiting a historic site, museum or other cultural venues. The afternoon takes place around a group of words on a specific theme related to HIV chosen by the whole team of AIDS.
For Who?
The Week'AIDES addressed to all people infected with HIV (and their families as the theme), whether or not to other AIDS activities.
Why?
The week-AID are a response to difficulties encountered by persons with HIV. They allow better access to information, support in needs assessment in order to live better and be better with HIV. They are also an opportunity for exchanges on the problems and practices in the treatment to promote adherence. These meetings are an opportunity to promote a break in the isolation people can experience. The themes (eg female sexuality and HIV ...) are chosen by the people encountered in our actions so that these moments of sharing stick closer to the concerns of people.
The next week'AIDES is on Sunday 18 March 2007 in TOURS.
The goal of the day is to have a collective reflection on the health-gay séropo proposal with the group.
You can register until Friday 17h or even come to an agreement to local AID (19 Faubourg St John in ORLEANS) to 9 pm for a precise carpooling.
