In the autumn 2006, a window opens in the cultural landscape Orléanais.
It is with great pleasure that the Action Group gay and lesbian Loiret (Gagli) finally presents its first film festival for gays and lesbians.
This event is the long-awaited day when the issue of recognizing the equal rights of homosexuals is at the heart of the news. That is why it is always interesting to observe the image of our concerns reflected by the 7th art.
For its first edition, this festival offers three days, a varied program, both stylistically and thematically with an anthology of short films, the Spanish comedy "Reinas" that tackles gay marriage, a drama of Sri Lanka "Flying with one wing "inspired by a news story, posing the question of sexual identity and a Swiss documentary vestigeof with five generations of women," The ball wild cats ", a film award at the Berlin Festival in 2005.
We also invite you to discover two exhibitions that accompany this event, the first entitled "In search of my identity", a draft on the concept of gender through photos and texts by Natacha Lemoine, bar and the Workshop second "Metalhom" black and white photos of Patrick Gerbier to the Bar Pentagram.
The Action Group gay and lesbian Loiret thank all its partners and particularly the city of Orleans, cinema and the Carmelite Center Images without whom the festival could take place.
